The line “His judgment cometh and that right soon” comes from the movie The Shawshank Redemption. It is not a direct quote from the Bible, The closest quote is from the Apocrypha, the books contained in the original King James Bible between the Old and New Testaments. That verse is Ecclesiasticus 21:5

“A prayer out of a poor man's mouth reacheth to the ears of God, and His judgment cometh speedily.”

This verse may not be in any protestant Bible but I think it is still true. The wicked get their comeuppance eventually, if not in this life the next one. The warden in Shawshank Redemption thought himself to be a messenger of God. However, he was a hypocrite. He dosed out punishment, sometimes severe, to the prisoners if they did not follow his rules, but at the same time, he used them to make money for himself. In other words, he was a wicked man who prospered from others, illegally. Judgment came to him however and when it did it came quickly. This man was not as he appeared. If we, like David, relied on evidence of what we see and hear, our conclusion would be that being evil makes you rich and provides lots of fun. This is not true at all. When we turn our eyes upon God, when we worship Him we soon realize that “being bad” leads to suffering, destruction, and eternal judgment. Communicating with God, being in His word clears up our perspective, we see things as they are. We understand the real truth. I said this yesterday, and it bears repeating. God’s people are blessed. They, we are protected by God. We get our strength from Him. We will experience eternal life, Heaven is the end of our lives, and God’s son Jesus is there waiting for us. Can the wicked lay claim to the same thing when they breathe their last breath?

Psalm 73: 15-28

15 If I had spoken out like that,
    I would have betrayed your children.
16 When I tried to understand all this,
    it troubled me deeply
17 till I entered the sanctuary of God;
    then I understood their final destiny.

18 Surely you place them on slippery ground;
    you cast them down to ruin.
19 How suddenly are they destroyed,
    completely swept away by terrors!
20 They are like a dream when one awakes;
    when you arise, Lord,
    you will despise them as fantasies.

21 When my heart was grieved
    and my spirit embittered,
22 I was senseless and ignorant;
    I was a brute beast before you.
